FieldReporter Overview

Overview

FieldReporter allows contractors and job site personnel to record daily employee sign-in and sign-out activity directly from the project site. The application supports workforce tracking, certified payroll validation, and compliance monitoring by collecting daily labor activity, including work hours, craft classifications, sign-in photos, and optional geolocation data.

This process helps contractors maintain accurate daily sign-in logs (DSLs) and supports agencies during certified payroll review and compliance audits. Information collected in FieldReporter is used during certified payroll submission to identify potential labor compliance issues such as missing employees, hour discrepancies, or craft classification mismatches.

Before You Begin

Before using FieldReporter:

  • Your agency must have the FieldReporter feature enabled.
  • Your organization must already be assigned to a project in the system.
  • Employees must exist in the contractor’s employee records unless they are being added as new employees on-site.
  • Contractors using kiosk mode should have a shared device available, such as a tablet or touchscreen workstation with a camera function.
