Overview
This article explains how to set up and use Kiosk Mode in FieldReporter which allows contractors and site managers to use a shared device, such as a tablet, for employee clock-in and clock-out activity at a job site. This process helps streamline Daily Sign-In Log (DSL) collection for projects with multiple employees working on-site. Using Kiosk Mode also helps ensure sign-in activity is tied to the correct project for certified payroll validation and compliance reporting.
Before You Begin
Before setting up Kiosk Mode:
- You must have the Contractor Site Manager role.
- FieldReporter must already be enabled for your organization.
- You must be logged into FieldReporter.
- You must select a project before enabling Kiosk Mode.
- You must create a kiosk PIN to secure the device.
A shared device with internet and camera access is required for job site use.
