Understanding Your Dashboard

Overview

The Dashboard is the main page you see after logging in to B2Gnow. It brings together important information from different areas of the system so you can quickly see what may need attention.

Use the dashboard to review records, monitor alerts, access training resources, view system announcements, and open related pages without searching through multiple menus.

The dashboard may look different depending on your role, permissions, organization setup, and enabled modules.

Before You Begin

Before using your dashboard, make sure:

  • You are logged in to your B2Gnow account.
  • Your account is connected to the correct organization.
  • Your user permissions allow you to view the records or tools you need.

You may not see every dashboard section described in this article.

Process

What the Dashboard Does

The dashboard gives you one place to review system activity, open related records, and access helpful resources.

Depending on your access, the dashboard may show:

  • Records connected to your organization
  • Pending applications or certifications
  • Contract, audit, or utilization plan activity
  • Alerts and reminders
  • Training and Help Center resources
  • System announcements
  • Dashboard display options

Many dashboard counts and links are interactive. When you select a linked count, status, or action, the system opens the related page so you can review details or complete the next step.

Because dashboards are based on permissions and configuration, your dashboard may not look exactly like another user’s dashboard.

General Process

The dashboard supports a simple review process:

1. Log in to B2Gnow.

2. The dashboard displays sections available to your account.

3. Review key areas such as actions, alerts, records, certifications, or system news.

6. Return to the dashboard to continue reviewing other items.

5. Complete the needed review or action in that area of the system.

4. Select a linked item to open the related page.

System Dashboard

When you log in for the first time, your dashboard may display default tiles such as Alerts, System News, and Tools. The dashboard provides a centralized view of important account information, system updates, shortcuts, and items that may require your attention.

The tiles and options available on your dashboard can vary depending on your organization, assigned permissions, and system configuration. If your permissions allow it, you may also be able to personalize how certain dashboard sections display.

Left Column

The left side of the dashboard contains options that help you review information and manage how dashboard content is displayed.

Dashboard

Use the available dashboard options to control how dashboard sections appear. Select hyperlinks within a section to open additional details or navigate to the related area of the system. Depending on your permissions, you may be able to choose:

  • Which sections appear
  • Where sections appear
  • The order of sections
  • Section colors
  • Which data displays in a section

Changes made to these options affect the dashboard layout and display only. They do not modify the underlying applications, records, or other system data.

Right Column

The right side of the dashboard provides quick access to commonly used information, account settings, and items that may require action.

Dashboard Item Description
Key Actions Highlights important or time-sensitive items that may need your attention, such as pending applications, outstanding questions, renewals, required tasks, or training resources.
Enhanced Account Security Provides access to additional account security options, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), to help protect your account.
Alerts Displays notices, reminders, and account-related messages that you have created or that are available to you.
System News Displays B2Gnow announcements, product updates, reminders, system information, and Help Center resources.

Together, these dashboard sections provide a starting point for navigating the system, monitoring important information, and accessing frequently used account tools. The exact content you see may differ based on your organization's configuration and your assigned user permissions.

Tips

  • Review Key Actions first because they often show items that need attention.
  • Use linked counts and statuses to open related records quickly.
  • Check System News regularly for updates, training reminders, and announcements.
  • Use Personalize or Configure if you want to adjust your dashboard layout and have access to those options.
  • Remember that your dashboard may look different from another user’s dashboard.
