Overview
Use this article to understand how to update or withdraw a Personal Net Worth, or PNW, statement before the full certification application is submitted. You can edit certain owner details, or withdraw the PNW statement if submitted information needs to be reopened and corrected. When a Personal Net Worth statement is withdrawn, it must be completed, uploaded again if required, submitted again, and marked complete before you can submit the full application.
Before You Begin
Before you make changes, make sure:
- The full certification application has not been submitted to the agency.
- You have access to the Personal Net Worth module.
- You have the information that needs to be updated.
- You know whether the agency requires the updated Personal Net Worth statement to be signed or notarized again.
Note: You may only be able to withdraw a PNW statement before the full application is submitted to the agency.
Steps
Edit the Personal Net Worth Statement
If you need to update owner information, such as the owner’s email address, residence address, phone number, marital status, or PNW access setting. Editing owner details is different from withdrawing a Personal Net Worth statement.
- Open the incomplete certification application.
- Locate the Personal Net Worth Statement section.
- Select Fill In.
- Select the PNW tab, if needed.
- Choose how to return to the PNW statement.
Option |

|---|---|
| Return to Edit Mode | If you just marked the PNW section complete and need to make another change, select Return to Edit Mode. |
| Edit | If you need to edit before signing or submitting the full application, select Edit next to the applicable PNW statement. |
- Select the edit owner details link next to the Owner’s Full Name.
- Update the owner details.
- Select Save.
Note: Editing owner details does not always require you to withdraw the Personal Net Worth statement.
Withdraw the Personal Net Worth Statement
If the Personal Net Worth statement has already been submitted within the application and you need to reopen it before submitting the full application to the agency.
- Open the incomplete certification application.
- Locate the Personal Net Worth Statement section.
- Select Fill In.
- Select the PNW tab, if needed.
- Locate the submitted Personal Net Worth statement that needs to be changed.
- Above the Person Net Worth Statements section, select the Withdraw PNW Statement, if available.
- Confirm that you want to withdraw the Personal Net Worth statement.
- Read Complete and Submit a Personal Net Worth Statement for instructions when you are ready to resubmit the PNW.
Note: You may only be able to withdraw the Personal Net Worth statement while the full certification application is still incomplete.

Tips
- If you change values in the PNW worksheet, review the calculated totals before submitting again.
- If your changes affect the signed statement, print, sign, and upload an updated document.
- Uploading a completed hard copy does not populate fields in the system. You must enter the information manually.
- Required fields may be marked with a red asterisk or highlighted background.
- Sections that still need information show as Incomplete. Finished sections show as Complete with a green background.
- Application access and PNW access are separate. A person may be able to view the application without being able to view the Personal Net Worth statement.
Summary
Withdrawing a Personal Net Worth statement lets you correct owner details, asset and liability information, uploaded documentation, or ownership percentages before the application is submitted to the agency. After updates are complete, the Personal Net Worth statement must be submitted again and the section must be marked complete.
